  2. Is there a way to modify existing values of a drop-down list?

It looks that the only way to modify is to delete the old one and create a new value option.

  4. Date & Time Field - Only 30 Minute Increments

The Date & Time field only allows values in 30 minute increments.
There is no other field to track the time of the day.

How do you enter a time different than the 30 min increments, like 12:05pm?

  8. I need to copy an auto-generated numeric ID to a text field if a condition is met

I have a checkbox in a table to deliniate a category: checked or not checked. If not checked, the record is an asset without a serial number. When not checked, I need TrackVia to copy the auto-generated numeric field (unique ID) for that record to a text field as a substitute for the serial number.

  9. IS IT POSSIBLE TO COMBINE A NUMERIC FIELD AND A TEXT FIELD INTO A SINGLE CALCULATED FIELD

HAVE AN AUTOMATED NUMBER FIELD WITH A UNIQUE NUMBER FOR EACH RECORD, AND ANOTHER TEXT FIELD FOR LAST NAME. COMBINE THE TWO INTO ONE RECORD ID FIELD THAT CONTAINS THE NUMBER AND THE LAST NAME FOR EASIER IDENTIFICATION. I AM NEW TO THIS AND DID NOT SEE ANYTHING EXPLAINING WHETHER THIS COULD BE DONE IN THE KNOWLEDGEBASE

  15. Subscribe to Individual Records - Notifications

I've just started working with one of my business units to move their operations into TrackVia.

One of the requirements they have is to allow users to "subscribe" to certain records and receive updates when that record is updated.

This is simple enough as a Notification Rule for everything in the table, but is there a way to identify only certain records to trigger an alert for per user?

My only thought is some type of Record Level Permission, then maybe a separate views by user (that can be alot)? This would also prevent the users from seeing the complete…

  16. Section Headers on Dashboards

I would like to be able to add a Section Header on dashboards. For Example: a current dashboard may contain data for 3 different pieces of data that belongs to one site. I want to be able to TITLE the sections - Section 1, Section 2, Section 3, so that when paging down the dashboard there is a specific division between the data.

The issue is that if I create a dashboard for each site with each piece of data I will have 18 different dashboards and that's just unwieldy to manage. Also, only 4 + 1 tab shows across…

  17. Pin open the paragraph field

Currently, paragraph fields are by shown, by default as one line. Would it be an easy adjustment to add into the view editing interface an option to pin open a paragraph field to a certain depth - the ability to change the width of table views is a similarly useful function.

  18. Highlight Required Fields for Users

The red box highlighting required fields for users only appears if the user has clicked on the input, not entered anything, then attempted to save the form. On a form with many fields and a user quickly moving through the form, they may miss the required field and try to save. Even when this occurs, the red box does not appear signalling where the user has to go back. While it makes sense to not have the red box showing by default, it would probably avoid some user frustration/confusion by having it triggered also by clicking "Save Changes." This would…

  19. Track Via Capabilities. A little confused.

The one thing that would make TrackVia near perfect for our business would be the ability to easily customize the list for export based on factors.

For instance, we have mailing to go out and we want to target a certain market, number range etc. we can just pick each database row and customize the export parameters.

ie. Mail to A-J last names on our list, in Phoenix and Scottsdale, unit counts 50-250 who haven't been contacted in 4 months. (all current categories tracked in TV) Just easily go in create the list and export it.

    Would this program be…
