How do I...?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Is there a similar feature in Trackvia Express as the document merge function in Trackvia Classic?

    I currently use the document merge function in Trackvia Classic for exporting to MS Word templates and am looking for similar functionality in Express.

  4. Summary Form

    I am trying to replicate a view from the old version to the newest version of Trackvia. I am not having much success. Attached is a photo old vs new. Old version is shown on the right. Old version allows me to see when weeks are not populated shows availability. ANy ideas how to set up to show in landscape form?

  6. Create sub-folder in views

    For my main Table I have created approx. 50 different views and about 15 of these are graphs/charts. I would like to have a way to organize these into sub-folders, so I can find the view I want to access quickly. I could have a "FY 14-15" folder, "FY 15-16" folder, etc. This would also improve navigation for my users who may not know what a specific view is named, but they could narrow their search down by viewing the content of category (i.e. sub-folder).

  7. Sending/sharing/emailing a record or scheduled report as an attachment

    Hello,

    I work for a healthcare organization. One of our departments uses TrackVia on a near daily basis. We have very recently upgraded from the classic version to the Enterprise+ version.

    Is there any way that we can use the "Share Record" feature, but instead of TrackVia printing out the data in the body of the email (the users have told me this can't be done for HIPAA reasons), the data can be sent as an attachment? Either a Word document or .csv or Excel spreadsheet is fine; it's just for our purposes, we cannot have the data printed out…

  8. More Chart Customization

    Is there a chance to add further customization to charts.

    For example:
    - Adding the option to display the data point on a line / bar graph in place of or in addition to hover text.
    - Customize the color of the lines

    The more options for charts the better.

  10. On my pie chart (or other graph), you can hover over a slice to see the qua

    On a pie chart (or other graph), you can hover over a slice to see the quantity and percentage for the "slice", but I would also like to see the TOTAL of all slices (maybe on cursor over or in the legend?).

    Currently, I create the graph view and a second view that counts the records to produce this information...it would be nice to have it all in one view.

    I have a table, which is for FAQ/Knowledge Base. I would like to know how many times a particular question has been viewed and maybe by who,? Is that possible in TrackVia currently?

  12. How To Convert A Chart Back to Table?

    I have a Chart that I need to return back to Table view so the Format tab returns back to the sort order of the fields (to modify the order of fields in the Notification Rule).

    I cannot find the option to do this once the Chart has been saved.

  13. Create a pie chart based on counts of values?

    We have four of five different attributes we apply to our projects to group them by (e.g. IT/Digital/Engineering/Sustainment). I would like to create a pie chart that shows the percentage of projects per criteria. So we might have 30% "Engineering" projects vs. 40% "IT" projects. But I can only seem to create a pie chart based on fields with numbers. Is there any way to create a pie chart as I described?

    If i were to create a view of completed task per employee and wanted to group the data within a filtered view further by the type of products, is there a way to do that?

  16. Export a view with grouped data as it shows in TV instead of exporting as each individual record?

    When creating views that group store records by region, they show at the region level in TV, but export as individual records under highlighted rows for each region but aren't summed so I then have to go into excel and re-sum each section. Is there a way to get a View to export at just the grouped level? I really don't want to create a new table just to make this happen.

  18. Sometimes the chart icon does not show up when I'm creating a view.

  19. Can I add listing view into a wordpress page?

    Hey everyone,

    We are creating a new site and I need to get a view to display on a wordpress page. Is there a way that you all know how to do this? I can pull the API and run it with JS, but I am looking for a more streamlined process in case things need to be changed or I need to use it on different sites.

  20. How do I create a view that incorporates data from the child tables

    I have a table with 2 child tables. I would like to create a view where I can select columns of data from all 3 tables and display in one view.
