How do I empty my table content.
Please note that I do not want to delete the table but to empty it.
related question: can I get my data in the table from another web app? in other word, can I make API call to another web app resulting in populating my tables (for instance if the other web app export an excel file)?
We introduced the ability to bulk delete all records in a table on 5/2/14. This will leave your table itself intact but will empty it of all record data.
Great question! If you would like to delete all records from the table, you must delete each record individually. You can delete a record by opening it then clicking the trash can icon located near the upper right hand corner of the window. As you can imagine, this could be a lengthy process depending on how many records you have in your table. For this reason, it may be quicker to recreate the table. You will be glad to hear that we are working on getting a "batch update" feature added to TrackVia Express, which would dramatically reduce the time it takes to delete records in the future.
Regarding your second question, there are currently two ways of entering records into TrackVia Express. The first way would be to simply add records individually through a form, and the second is through an import. Unfortunately, there is no way to connect to a third party application through an API at the moment.
