How do I...?

Is there a way to modify existing values of a drop-down list?

It looks that the only way to modify is to delete the old one and create a new value option.

    Hi Michelle,

While this is definitely something that we have discussed, it does not look like it is in our near term road map. That being said, the timeline is subject to change based on several different factors. We will absolutely keep you in the loop with updates!

We would love to change the way our dropdowns are worded but are unable to at this time without deleting it from all previous records. Do you have an update on the function?

I totally agree with this. Modification of an item in a drop-down list rather than deleting is an eminently sensible improvement and also being able to add to the list when actually working in the application is the most likely time a new option is thought of, particularly during development and testing. This should also be subject to security rights control of course.

Alex, please let us know when this will be available. Also It would be nice to add a new option with a button next to the data entry (or "add new" option within the drop-down list). Thanks

    Hi John,

Thank you for the feedback! Being able to change existing drop down options is a great enhancement that we'll be sure to share with our product team. This feature would add flexibility and ease of use when designing and modifying any table in your application. We'll keep you informed as this feature becomes available, stay tuned!
