move record from one table to another
I will have several applicants input their information into a table. After they have been hired, I need my GM to be able to transfer their information into our employees table. Is there a way to do this easily without needing to redo the work?

Unless there is a need to have the data in separate tables, couldn't the applicant enter there information into the same table using a custom form?
Then once they are hired as an employee, the GM can update the record with a new classification using a drop-down field with the values of Applicant, and Employee.

While there is not an automated function within TrackVia to copy records to another table, it is possible to transfer these records using Zapier or export/import.
Using Zapier, you can connect TrackVia to TrackVia such that when a record is created in one table Zapier pulls that record and sends the data to a second table. More on Zapier integration can be found in our Knowledge Base article here: http://bit.ly/1JESFen
The other option would be to create a filtered view that separates the new records from the existing records so that they can be readily exported to excel. Once exported, they can be imported to the employee table.
