  1. Change formatting on History Window

    for changes to paragraph fields the history only shows the top 2 lines of text. The browser has to zoom way out to read all of the text and then the text becomes almost unreadable.

    Change formatting to allow admins to see all of the lines in paragraph fields

  2. Set inactivity log out duration for different user groups

    Utilize the user group feature to be able to adjust the log out intervals based on the users role. For example, our crews out in the field travel from job to job and get logged out every time. It would be helpful for users that have long intervals between application use to be able to stay logged in.

  3. Have Working Days as a unit for formulas

    At the moment the 'units' in the date formulas include days, weeks, months, years etc...but not working days. This would be hugely beneficial to business' !

  4. A video for new users

    There does not appear to be any one source for explaining TV for new users. I see the "Getting Started" written instructions, however, seeing visual examples with audio would be more effective. There are so many terms, relationships, and concepts to comprehend We have only one person in our organization who is very familiar with Track Via and would like more resources for other new users to get jump-started.

  5. Ability to subdivide Gantt chart records.

    I would like to have the ability to apply multiple dates to a Gantt chart for a conditional formatting effect.
    Example: I have a table of projects that I represent in a Gantt chart view. These projects have multiple stages, which I would like to represent on that chart (e.g. Planning stage: yellow, Labor stage: green, Post stage: orange).

  6. Allow Applicaton Scripts to run when Select All / Edit All used to update multiple records.

    We setup forms specifically to allow our project managers to 'Mass Update' multiple records, and had to disable the feature because the Application Scripts were not consistently running. It seems if Select All is used to select all rows returned in a filtered view, when you do Edit All, the application scripts are not run, and any updates to be made by application scripts are missed. This is apparently by design, but very poorly thought out, as it essentially makes the edit all fetaure useless if applicaiton scripts are used.

  7. Alllow more than one Create a Record form and allow a specific form to be defined to edit record once created.

    Right now, you can only have one Create a Record form defined per role, and once record is completed for that, system defaults to the form associated with the default view on the table where record is added. This limits us to only one process flow per user role. If we could specify multiple Create a Record forms, and then specify specific form to open once record is created, we could create multiple process flows within a single role.

  8. Maps - Plot a map with an address

    Trackvia Classic had this feature and it was very useful. Although it is good to be able to plot a map through GPS info, sometimes the info in the office is of an address and it should be able to be plotted for sheduling purposes.

  9. Manage users like any other table

    I'd like to be able to search and sort the users table, add custom fields, link to it- basically, the User table should have all the same functionality as any other table in trackvia. Custom views and permissions too.

  10. Allow data entry offline

    I believe TrackVia has the ability to a=turn on functionality that allows for data entry to take place while offline (and data synchs once the device is back online). How does one go about activating that feature?

    It is imperative to guard sensitive data.
    Masked fields in classic provided the ability to safeguard passwords, SS#, CC info.

  12. Super Admin Default Form

    Can you add the feature for Super Admin's to select a default form instead of using the generic form. It is very time consuming to constantly have to change it to the preferred form when viewing records. We should be able to select the record and view it the same way a limited user sees it.

  13. Timeline improvements

    Firstly, I should say that the new timeline feature is really, really well done. Seriously it's really great.

    There are a couple tiny improvements, though, that would make it much more usable for us. The first is either the ability to set the row height (or at least the 'No Parent' first row) or to be able to drag out of the 'show more' pop-up. When you have more than 3 records in a row, the drag-and-drop feature (which is the best part) becomes much less useful. We often have 10+ records with no parent and would be great to…

  14. Allow use of multiple 'new record' forms based on context

    Right now a person in any role who creates a new record always sees the same form when they do that- I'd like to be able to designate different forms as the 'new record' form based on context, so, for example, different default values can be set in the form, or only fields relevant to the context are shown.

  15. In a bar/line graph, it would be great to be able to "click off" or hide all of the items at once

    I have a line graph with dozens of customers (3 pages) worth on the little table. If I want to compare one customer to another I either need to quick filter, or click off 32 other vendors. It would be great if I could just click them all off, and then just click a few of them back on to quickly see how customers stack up..

  16. Sharing from a tablet

    When sharing from a mobile device the list of TrackVia Users/groups/roles does not populate like on PC. This would be a huge help.

  17. "Location" field- on desktop, drop a pin like on mobile vs. having to use an address and/or XY coordinate

    On mobile, it is nice how you can either "Use current location" OR click the map, and drop a pin to get your XY coordinate. on desktop, i must use an address which may yield an inaccurate/ imprecise location, or i must go to google maps to grab an XY coordinate. it would be nice if i could map a location on desktop by dropping a pin, as i can do on mobile.

  18. share records

    When sharing records it would helpful if there was tracking to see if/when a record is shared and who it was shared with. It is especially helpful to communicate information in TrackVia with a non-user who is a customer or vendor, but there is no record that the activity took place.

  19. Expand the join limit on tables

    How much trouble would it be to expand the join limits on tables? 61 seems like a big number until you've built out a robust application with a centralized notes area. With so many things coming together in one place those 61 are quickly used up. especially when image, document, and drop downs are included.

  20. Dial phone numbers from a form view on mobile devices

    When viewing a record on a mobile device in a form, you should be able to click the number and immediately call it like you can from a view. Even if it is a locked field, clicking a number only brings it up to copy.
