  1. Grouping views by more than one field

    If you group a view by more than one field, I feel each additional group should be a subgroup of the 1st that requires a drill in to get to.

    Instead of everything on one level like it is now:

    Group 1 Item 1; Group 2 Item 1
    Group 1 Item 1; Group 2 Item 2
    Group 1 Item 2; Group 2 Item 1
    Group 1 Item 2; Group 2 Item 2

    It should work like this:

    +Group 1 Item 1;

        - Group 2 Item 1
    
    - Group 2 Item 2

    • Group 1 Item 2;
        - Group 2 Item 1

  2. More chart to table options

    Give the option to convert a table to a chart and vice versa rather than creating a new view. Additionally, please add the ability to add multiple chart using different data arrays and still have them grouped under one single view instead of a bunch of views for a bunch of different charts.

  3. Permissions: Edit only own records (View other user's but no edit)

    Now the permissions to choose from are “View only” “View & Edit” “View, Edit & Delete”.
    WE NEED a 4th and 5th option:
    ・View all & Edit only records of current user
    ・View all & Edit only records of users of the same role

    I think this feature is required by almost every company.
    I really need this function to be able to stop my users from editing records of other users. Or with a small team, to be able to stop teams from editing the records the other teams make.

  4. Create vCard attachment for person records

    I would like to be able to download a vCard for a person record in a person table. It would likely require either a custom table type, or the ability to map fields from a table to vcard fields--perhaps in a separate wizard in the admin area.

    It could be implemented on forms or views using a custom field type.

  7. Easily customized database export

    So many great updates like matching categories on import and searchable tables beyond the first 100 results. thanks

    The one thing that would make TrackVia near perfect for our business would be the ability to easily customize the list for export based on factors.

    For instance, we have mailing to go out and we want to target a certain market, number range etc. we can just pick each database row and customize the export parameters.

  9. Sort Order for Fields in Drop-down Lists

    I would like to see drop-downs that list table Field Names be in alphabetical order.

    It appears the Field Names are currently in the order of how the fields appear in the table builder.

    It would make things alot easier if drop-down lists were sorted alphabetically regardless of the order in the table.

    Some areas this would apply:
    - Selecting Record ID's
    - Filters
    - Formula Builder Pop-Up Window
    - View Builder
    - Form Builder

  10. Fields, Groups and Totals - Export to Excel feature not available?

    Hi, As i plug along transitioning from Classic to the new platform, I have discovered an alarming capability that is apparently unavailable in 2.0.
    I have many Classic users that use the "Fields, Groups, and Totals" tab under "Modify View" to group and total sales and expense figures by location, entity, etc. They then export these views, grouped and totaled, to excel, where it can be emailed to third parties (such as lenders).

    I am now discovering that the "Format" tab has replaced the "Fields, Groups and Totals" feature in the new platform. I need to group specific fields and…

  11. modify a record in zapier

    It would be very helpful to modify existing records. But really this is a work around for not having a calculated user field in my case. For example.. if I am using TrackVia to dispatch people... I need a way to unassign it at the end of the day if the record is not signed off (ie a condition is not met)

  12. Email blast

    I'd there to be an option so that all emails can be grouped at once, and email blasted as well. As an copy/pastable email cluster, or something like that. My employer would like an easy way to collect all our emails, put them into one list, and email them all.

  13. Apps Script access to auto-counter, triggered and calculated fields

    Fairly simple: Apps Script isn't as useful as it could be without being able to access every field in each table. If you use an auto-counter or triggered field for a record ID, you are currently unable to load that record in an apps script (e.g. using loadrecord(), etc).

    I think it should be possible to have a 3rd Variable in the Weekday function that lists a bunch of Public Holidays and removes them from the calculation.

  16. URGENT - Security Issue with Passwords

    TrackVia does not force any kind of password strength requirements right now. It looks like it will even accept 'password' as a password. It's very important that this is fixed, since there's no way we can check if our users are using secure passwords.

  18. Shared Views - Improving the Look of the Email

    When sharing a view, the columns expand so much that not all fields show and the data wraps (regardless of how the view looks in TrackVia. The only way to accurately display the info is if the person is a user in the system.

  19. Print & share detail behind Grouped Views

    When using the Group format feature on a View, users like that they are able to drill down into the records that make up the group but they are unable to print or share the detail. I am also not able to collapse the details after I have expanded them on the view. It would be hugely beneficial to us to be able to first expand the detail (as it does today) but then have the ability to print, share, and export these records within the expanded view.     For large tables, it would be helpful if we had the option to have every other row be shaded differently. Would definitely improve user experience.
