  2. Error Handling for Image Fields

    I would like to see some type of error handling on the Image field.

    Currently, this field will accept any type of file with no error being returned to the user. The result being that no one can see or access the attached file when it is not an image.

    The Image field should only accept images and nothing else.

  3. Ability to subdivide Gantt chart records.

    I would like to have the ability to apply multiple dates to a Gantt chart for a conditional formatting effect.
    Example: I have a table of projects that I represent in a Gantt chart view. These projects have multiple stages, which I would like to represent on that chart (e.g. Planning stage: yellow, Labor stage: green, Post stage: orange).

  4. Make a calculated field unique!

    This can be handy in so many ways!

    I need this for: cleaning up phone numbers first, by standardised their patterns (removing brackets and such), and then I need this clean phone number to be UNIQUE!

    If someone adds: 1-800-673-3302 and someone else adds: 1-800 673 3302, both will be regarded as "not-unique" which forms a big problem if you have over 10,000 records with various input patterns...

  5. Deleting Inactive Checkbox Choices

    I like temporarily having access to checkbox items as I'm creating a form. However, there doesn't seem to be an option to delete mistakes or checkbox choices that will never be used again - these are populating the "Inactive Choices" Box on the screen and starting to take up space. Would it be easy enough to add a small "x" to these choices similar to the option used above?

    Being able to delete old usernames would also be great so those don't accumulate over time.

  7. the ability to trace dependent formulas.

    When deleting/replacing a field, I receive the following error: "The field 'X' is being used as part of a formula in a calculated field. If you'd like to remove this field, please remove it from the formula."

    Unfortunately, I have no exact way of knowing where that formula is... Please create a way to trace dependent formulas.

  9. ERD position lock.

    Currently when I view my table-relationships in ERD view, I rearrange the positions in a way that makes sense to me. Unfortunately, every time that I leave & revisit my ERD view I have to rearrange the tables all over again.
    I would like to see a way to lock my ERD arrangement.

  10. Filtering by text field: Include blank fields/empty fields with "Does Not Contain"

    One would think that "Contains" and "Does Not Contain" would be mutually exclusive AND that together they would include all records. Turns out that this is not the case, and that there is a third category of field (blank) which logically seems as if it should be a part of the "Does Not Contain" criteria. Since "Is Blank" is a filter option, I can't imagine why this change would be objectionable.

    In addition, the fact that "Does Not Contain" does not operate this way has caused me to create numerous views that simply leave out records that surely should qualify.…

  11. Group records in charts by weeks beginning Mondays

    We track our production, etc, by the week, with the first day of the week as Monday. As it's currently set up, TrackVia's charts group by the week, with the first day as Sunday, and this offset means we are unable to view data summaries by the week

  12. Add count of App Scripts to Table Listings in App Overview

    Currently, keeping track of app scripts requires a great memory or manual documentation. It would be very helpful to easily see which tables have scripts. App overview seems like a good place, but anywhere that doesn't require clicking the app script link on each table would be great.

  13. Gantt chart show no information label when you hover a bar

    With every other view format when you hover a bar you can see information pop up, except for Gantt charts (first picture). With Gantt charts you can only see information pop up when you hover a bar in the chart preview (second picture).

    The second thing, is it possible to get more detailed information when you hover a bar in a Gantt chart? In the preview of the Gantt chart I can see the months, but when I can see also dates its more practical and faster. Otherwise when I want to plan something in a Gantt chart I have…

  14. Password Policy Requirements on Reset Screen

    The password reset screen does not display any of the requirements from the new Password Policy Configurations (see two screenshots).

    I'd like to see the password reset screen list the requirements placed on the account by the Sysadmin. Examples: X number of characters, lowercase, uppercase, etc.

  15. Sorting in Lanes


    1. I would love to be able to control the sorting in lanes views by values in fields.

    2. I would love to be able to access the value that controls the manual custom sort order in lanes either via calculations or scripts so that it could
      a) be used as a trigger or input for a calculation or conditional format (e.g. if the sort order is changed, send an alert or change a value or change a color etc)
      b) be applied to a table view

  16. Emailing Filtered Reports

    Really like the ability to email reports - however, when a filter is applied to a view or report you can go through the process of emailing a report but it never comes through. I'm assuming this is a bug tied to the filtering.

    If you could pull up a view, filter it by a field, and then email that filtered report that would be great.

  17. Timeline improvements

    Firstly, I should say that the new timeline feature is really, really well done. Seriously it's really great.

    There are a couple tiny improvements, though, that would make it much more usable for us. The first is either the ability to set the row height (or at least the 'No Parent' first row) or to be able to drag out of the 'show more' pop-up. When you have more than 3 records in a row, the drag-and-drop feature (which is the best part) becomes much less useful. We often have 10+ records with no parent and would be great to…

  19. Apply view "default" format to other views

    I would like to see the ability to copy a view layout and apply it to another view that is created already and have the option if it would replace the filter or not. That way if you have 10-20 views that you want to have all the columns widths and column locations the same you can apply it to a group of views and allow the sorting, filters, and notifications to remain with each of the views if you choose.

  20. Notifications at the Table Level

    You have notifications at the record level, but I want to notify someone when a table is updated - in other words, multiple records added to a table, then 1 email notification to say the table has been updated.
