Export dates in 'yyyy-mm-dd' format
Dates are currently exported in 'MMM dd, yyyy' format (e.g. 'May 21, 2017'), which adds an extra few unneeded steps to re-format date fields when re-importing, as date fields must be imported in 'yyyy-mm-dd' format (e.g. '2017-05-21).

This format 'MMM dd, yyyy' (e.g. 'May 21, 2017') can be hard to import depending of your local settings. I understand that it is clear which is month and which is the day, but the format 'yyyy-mm-dd' is clearly easier to import (especially if your are outside the US)

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for the feedback on exported files and date fields.
The TrackVia system exports data in a CSV format, and due to some formatting settings of a CSV file, it is always going to be the case that you would have to re-format any date fields when re-importing a file back into the system.
With that said, Excel should have its own local formatting settings that you can double check that can help minimize the amount of re-formatting that you have to do.
Thanks again for the feedback,
Justin
