No auto-redirect to another form when saving a form
I have a view with several forms.
If I create a new record with one of these form, when I click "Save" I got redirected to the record displayed in the default form for the current view. Which is not relevant in my case.
When clicking "Save", the user does not expect to observe any modification.
Can you ensure that the user stay on the same form when clicking "save" ?

"or after you create a record from a view and click "Save". In case of the latter, the system will redirect you to the form assigned to that view in your role, since technically you would now be "editing" that record."
Sadly this is not what happen on our instance. The form opened when saving a new record is not the one configure for the view. And this is a big issue for my project.
Any support would be welcome. If it is a way to have a chat about it, I can organize that
Yes, you are correct! There can only be one form for record creation "Create new records using" per table per role. However, there can be multiple forms associated with that table for editing, depending on how many views you have set up.
These forms can be accessed through specific views, by clicking on a Record ID and editing a record, or after you create a record from a view and click "Save". In case of the latter, the system will redirect you to the form assigned to that view in your role, since technically you would now be "editing" that record.

I have understood how stuff should work, please tell me if I am wrong :
You always create a record with the same form (specified in the role,no matter what is the active view)
When you save, the record is opened with the form configured for the current view.
If it is supposed to work like that, you can close my request.
This sounds like something that can be accounted for in the role level permissions. We can help you achieve this functionality, however, because this is account specific, I would suggest you send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the information about the user/role/view/form. Once we receive this information we can send you a personalized response on how to go about this change.
