Esrana,
I am not sure why this may be occurring without seeing the specifics of your account. A thought is that it may be happening because there is an issue with the order of operations in the calculations.
I would suggest adding a set of parenthesis around the entire calculated currency formula of "Margin" to ensure that the Margin value is calculating correctly before being passed to "Mark Up". If you would like additional support, please submit a ticket by using the "Help" button in the top right of your screen, and I can provide more specific help by looking in-depth at your formulas.
Thank you,
Andrew
I tried to do the same thing.I have field Margin thats calculated currency & another field buy price which is currency.I want to find markup thats calculated percentage. the formula that I used Mark up={Margin}/{Buy Price}
Now for example margin=$30.00, BuyPrice=$10.00 the Mark up should be 300% but its giving 5700%, from where its calculating this value I dont get it.
Hi Esrana,
Since currencies are numeric fields in the table, the calculated percentage should still output correctly: {Currency A} \ {Currency B} = %.
There may be another issue with the formula or the fields being divided for the percentage to work properly. If you would like us to investigate in further detail, you can submit a support ticket here: http://www.trackvia.com/trackvia-support-request/ or call 800-673-3302.

the two fields that I have used are currency field..is it because of that?
Hi Esrana,
The "/" symbol should be a valid function for a calculated percentage when dividing two number fields in the table. The error being received should indicate the source whether the syntax for any formula is incorrect or if the table set up needs additional modifications.
