Is there any way to add a table column data into drop down list of another table form?

  Hi Esrana,

  It sounds like we want to take the values from one table and make them into a drop down in another, related table. If this is the case, this is done through the creation of the relationship field. This will present as a drop down field in the child table that allows you to determine to which parent record to relate the child record.

  I tried this already but it shows the record ID in the dropdown list..how can I specify which field I want to show in the dropdown list?

  Hi Esrana,

  The drop-down is the record ID from the parent table. This record ID can be changed in the table setup of the parent table. The record ID for any table can be a combination of any field in the table, there is additional information in our Knowledge Base Article below:
