    Hi Kimberly,

Hope you are well. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to reset an autocounter other than recreating the table. However, we can understand how this would be a nice feature to have. We will be sure to pass this request along to our product team. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments.

    Regards,

    Jake

We also encountered this problem. It turns out that the autocounter will accept a negative starting value. So we set it to "-12" so that our #13 turned into #1

    Hi Adam,

Although this works in certain instances, we would not recommend setting the autocounter to start at a negative value as this can cause errors in your table. Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Regards,

    Jake

I'm wondering if there is any update on this topic.
I just came across a need to reset the Auto Counter after import some records, and it appears to have doubled the number of records.
Would the Auto Counter reset if I deleted all records, deleted the Auto Counter field, recreated the Auto Counter, then reimporting my source file?

Surely TV could implement auto-counter resetting by using TRUNCATE TABLE tablename...? Then you'd still have to re-import data but at least the structure would be intact...
