January 2018 Release Notes: Maintenance
New:
A new Hamburger/Options menu is now available to admins when creating a new record from a web form. It allows the admin to edit the form itself or to edit the table. If the admin is on a Default Form, only the Edit Table option is available.
Note this menu is not available when creating a record from a dashboard nor when creating a child record from a parent form.
- Copy a flow! Use the new Save As option in the Flow Builder to make a copy of an existing flow.
Fixed:
Exporting summary views - now as Excel files
When you are in a summary grid view, choosing Export View will download an Excel file containing grouped records
This export has the same 100,000 record limit as exporting a csv file from a non-grouped view
The export file supports sorting for the "Group By" column only
When creating a new view, then building a filter from that view, clicking Save, then Save and Close on the filter will now return you to the view builder instead of the home dashboard
Permissions - Limited Users will no longer get a permissions error when the filter source on a Dependent Dropdown is changed from a default to a custom view
Flow Builder performance improvements for large flows
Field values no longer hidden behind other dashboard elements when editing fields in a view on the dashboard
Notifications - When an Application User field is changed, the notification will now display the changed values instead of being blank
Permissions - View not matching the form permissions for a relationship
When a form contains more than 61 joins, using bulk delete no longer fails
Notifications - after a role is updated, notifications no longer being sent to those in the role before it was updated
Permissions - Multi-Select widget displaying permissions error accurately
Quick Filter - User Name no longer being replaced by the User ID
Field Indexing - “Starts with” working properly
No more errors when editing relationship field on a dashboard
