    Has there been any more consideration on this? Ideas get the boilerplate response and then nothing is heard whether it is something that is actually considered or not. i know there must be a ton of suggestions that come in, but browsing through the forums everything is fairly dead. I think it is because people don't really get any feedback. Having a thriving community of TrackVia users would be a huge asset as people could share ideas and grow their apps and help drive development.

    if you added an extra option in your drop down list that creates the lanes and make it the default value in the creation form then it would populate in it's own lane.

    This would be extremely helpful for our managers. They would not have to constantly be asking me to look things up.

    There are many unanswered suggestions regarding how views are shared and there not being any record Tracking of it anywhere. I'm thinking about requiring everyone to copy a specific gmail address every time they share something so i can have Zapier create a record every time that address gets an email to try and have some kind of tracking at least. It wont happen everytime, but at least it will be better than nothing.

    I agree! The auto suggest/complete feature seems to work sporadically at times as well.

    I agree as well that this part of the app needs to be revamped. It doesn't even default sort the list of tables in alphabetical order. You have to manually tell it to sort alphabetically each time, which isa pain when you have a large app with many tables and views.

    Every time i come on here and find posts about TrackVia classic it makes me a little sad. I've only known the new version and want so many of the tools that classic had. I've built an extremely powerful tool for our company, but it could be so much more valuable with many of the classic features I've seen mentioned.

    We have an app script that runs and compares the key info that we use to create our record IDs. If it finds it is a duplicate i just puts the word "duplicate" in a text field. Then i have a view that only populates if a record has the word duplicate in that field. With the View shares or zapier you can set it up to notify you when there is a duplicate if it's not something you want to have to remember to monitor.

    Multiple creation forms is something i am waiting for as well, but you can set different forms for each view. So if a particular task needs to be completed on a record in a view then a customized form can be created for the view. That is probably not helpful information at this point since it's been so long, but these forums are dead so i'm just going around trying to stir something up trying to get some TrackVia involvement somewhere.

    This would be something to talk to your TrackVia admin about. Depending on what you mean by reports (a view, a record, or something else) there is a ton of flexibility with fields in views and how information is presented.

    This would be a huge time saver! when you have a large user base with multiple roles adding new tables and their views to roles is a monumental task!

    This needs to happen. you are killing your own products versatility by making rely on something else that is expensive and potentially costly to setup for someone without the knowledge to do so.

    One of everyone's biggest complaints is that they must ask me to delete records that are created by mistake. Everyone feels like they are babied or being overly monitored because they cannot delete, but deleting is an all or nothing function. Whether malevolently or not i knew deletes would happen so it's been blocked since day 1. A recycle bin area would allow for people to delete things, but for them to be recovered if deleted by accident. The possibility of wiping out years worth of data just isn't something to mess around with.

    This is available using a WebMerge account that is priced based on a number of documents created. So while possible it's an added cost and requires some JSON/API coding knowledge to setup properly. So there would be additional cost of setup as well for each type of document you would like to create. It puts a real damper on the "TrackVia is a blank slate you can do anything with".

    Conditional formatting does allow for information in fields to be highlighted. Either with a change in text color, cell color, or both. You would just need some kind of trigger to cause the formatting to be applied.
