    Hi John,

You are correct about the Super Admin permission. There are no restrictions to what they can do in the account.

The Admin permission in a Role in an app grants the user full permissions to that specific app. The Dashboards, Forms and Views are only assigned in an Admin Role for the purpose of setting the admin's preferences, or default dashboards and forms (add and edit) used in the app.

    Dashboard examples:

    - Assign the first dashboard an admin is taken to when they open app.
    - Choose the order of the different dashboard links the admin will see across the top of the dashboard page.

    Form examples:

    - Assign the default form the app admin uses when adding a record to a table.
    - Choose the form the users sees when opening a record from a specific view.

Thank you for the idea/feedback! This is a great suggestion. We can see where this would be helpful when you have numerous child records linked to a single parent. We will certainly take this into consideration when enhancing forms!

    Hi Tom,

Great question! You can create a pie chart based on the count of values by first grouping by a field in your table other than the Record ID (you are only presented with the number fields as the Data if you do not change this first field).

    1. In the Pie Chart settings, in the drop-down list for 'Name (label)', choose the field that is storing the project type/group.
    2. Check the box labeled 'Group by this field' that appeared.
    3. Choose a field under 'Data (piece of pie)' (this could be the same field as step 1).
    4. In the drop-down menu next to the Data field where you see 'Summary function', choose one of the 'COUNT' options.

These steps should allow you to create a pie chart that displays the percentage of projects in each group.

    Thanks,
    DJ

    Doyle,

We recently released a new import process that allows you to choose the field type to import. If our system identifies the best field type as a single line for the data in the spreadsheet, you can choose to change that to a date field type to resolve your problem.

This issue was resolved on Friday evening. Please let us know if you are still experiencing any problems with populating a link to a parent record.

    Hi Nathan,

Our apologies, this is a known issue we are looking to address shortly. There are linked fields that are locked (or read-only) for limited users when they should be editable.

We are hoping to have this resolved by the end of today. We will provide an update soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Sincerely,
    DJ

If these two tables are linked whereas there are many projects linked to a single contractor, you will be able to add a view of the contractors' projects on the form used to add a contractor.

Please contact an administrator at your company regarding this request. If you are the account's administrator, please submit a support ticket by logging into your account, clicking your email address in the top right corner of the screen and selecting 'Create a support ticket'. With additional information including which account, app and tables you are working with, we should be able to assist.

This request appears to be regarding your internal application. We recommend contacting an Administrator at your company to assist.

You should be able to accomplish this by building a view that displays this information. You can then export the view into an Excel spreadsheet.
