    Hi Michelle,

While this is definitely something that we have discussed, it does not look like it is in our near term road map. That being said, the timeline is subject to change based on several different factors. We will absolutely keep you in the loop with updates!

    Hi Jill!

It sounds like you are adding child records (notes) to a parent record (meetings). The only way to add multiple records at a time would be through an import with an excel spreadsheet. Alternatively, you could use the "save and add new" button on the form to quickly jump to another blank form. If we are misunderstanding your question, please contact TrackVia support at support@trackvia.com with additional details so we can take a closer look for you.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Christie,

You can bulk delete one page at a time by selecting all records using the check box in the header row, then de-selecting a single record from the page.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Geo,

Great question! Notifications can only be sent to TrackVia users. That being said, we do have a sharing feature that allows you to share records and views with any email address, not just TrackVia users. You can find a great knowledge base article regarding this feature below:

    http://help.trackvia.com/knowledgebase/articles/591804-how-to-share-data

If this does not meet your needs, you can always use the API to pull information out of TrackVia. Hope this helps, please let us know if you have any further questions!

    Hi John,

Currently, limited users have the ability to create notifications(to themselves only) as well as switch a view to display in lanes(but cannot save the view). We can certainly speak to our product team and have them explore the idea of wrapping permissions around these features. As always, we will keep you in the loop with updates!

    Hello Ben,

You may want to try using the isblank() function rather than the ="" condition.

    IF(isblank({Historic Order Number}), {Order Number}, {Historic Order Number})

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to convert a field from one type to another. That being said, we would be more happy to let our product team know that this is a feature you would like to see added to TrackVia - we see how it would save you a lot of time!

In the mean time, you can export the table, delete the field, add a new drop down field with the appropriate selections, then import to update that field. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know!

    Hello John,

Thank you for the feedback! While views do refresh to some extent (in cell editing fields that are referenced in formulas, modifying records so they leave a view, or adding records on a dashboard), there are instances where they do not (another user adds/deletes a record). We see how this would be very helpful and will pass this suggestion along to our product team.

    Hi John,

Thank you for the feedback. The reason that all admins have access to the API is because we believe that limiting it to the Account Authority would be too restrictive. This would mean that any time you wanted to have someone develop or use the API, you would need to give them your credentials (which would also give them access to everything in the account and is a security concern). With App admins, they could use their own credentials and would only be able to make API calls within the app that they have access to.

Additionally, it would be difficult to reach to maximum number of calls, which breaks down to over 8,000/day. Of course, it is possible to reach the limit, so it would be best to instruct the admins not to use the API without your consent. Please let us know if you have any further questions about this.

Great question! Just as you concatenated the two fields together with an ampersand, you can also concatenate any sting of text (including spaces). For example:

    {First Name} & " " & {Last Name}

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Andy,

While this is definitely on our road map, we have not nailed down a time frame for when it will be released. Unfortunately, it looks like this will not be implemented for some time. That being said, this is always subject to change based on several factors, including the number of requests we receive for the feature. We will let our product team know that you would like to see this functionality and will keep you in the loop with updates!

    Hi Ken,

TrackVia does not currently have a way to automatically archive data at predetermined intervals. That being said, you can export your data manually daily by exporting every default view on the app overview page. Alternatively, you could use the TrackVia API to create this sort of auto-export functionality from scratch.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Ishaan,

This is a great question! In order to upload you will need to add a document or image field to your table. Below is a great article on how to do this. After the fields are in the table, and you open the form on your android device, you will be presented the option to upload documents/images, take pictures, or even upload an electronic signature.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

This is a great question. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to filter a drop down list based upon the user that is filling out the form. That being said, this is something that we have discussed and are working on getting into TrackVia. We would be happy to let our product team know that you would like to see this functionality added as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

    Hello Esrana,

There is already a field in your table called "Created." This field displays the date in which the user created the record. If you want to reference this in a calculated date field, simply enter {created} in the formula box.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Esrana,

Great question! Even though it may appear to be just a date in TrackVia, it is also stored with a default time on our servers. When you reference this date field in a calculated text field, it is pulling the value straight from the server, therefore also returning the time.

If you want to just display the date without the time, you can wrap a snip function around it. See an example of this below:

    snip({Date},""," ")

This will snip from the beginning of the string to the space and cut off the time. Hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions!

    Hello Esrana,

Initially, it seems like this may be due to the fact that you cannot import directly into calculated fields as their values are always derived from other fields. However, there may be something else going on here. Please feel free to send over additional information to support@trackvia.com for further assistance.

    Regards,

    Derrick

    Hello Esrana,

Currently, TrackVia does not have the ability to convert fields from one field type to another. That being said, this feature is definitely something that we are looking to get into the product and will let you know when we receive updates from our product team. In the mean time, you can export the view, add your new field with the new field type, then import into the new field.

    Hope this helps!
