š ļø What's Fixed?
- We fixed an issue with Limited users getting incomplete answers when using the TrackVia MCP.Ā Users should no longer get "View not found" errors for any Views that they have access to.
- Clearer messages when a user doesn't have permission.Ā When a user asks for something their role doesn't allow, the MCP now says so plainly instead of returning an empty result.
- Limited users who try to change tables, views, forms, filters, or dashboards get an immediate message: limited users can only work with record data.
- TheĀ
whoAmIĀ tool now tells your AI assistant whether the user can change app structure, so it doesn't waste steps on actions that will fail. - We fixed an issue affecting some individuals with access to multiple TrackVia accounts attempting to use to the MCP.
-
Sandbox sign-in works without a custom subdomain.Ā On the MCP sign-in page, you can now enterĀ
go.trackvia.comĀ inĀ Subdomain or URLĀ together with aĀ Sandbox account ID. Before, this combination showed an error, so accounts without a custom subdomain could not connect to a sandbox. -
PDF and document downloads work.Ā TheĀ
getRecordFileĀ tool now returns PDFs and other non-image files from document fields correctly. - Web app stability.Ā This release fixes a batch of errors in the TrackVia web app, including errors when you switch into a sandbox from the account menu and when your internet connection drops and comes back.
