• iOS 14 Precise Location Required

iOS 14 introduces a new privacy option for users: Location services support Precise or Approximate location detection. On forms that include a location field, a precise location is required.

If the location field is required, saving the form requires a precise location.

If the location field is optional, and a location is entered into the field, saving the form requires a precise location.

If the location field is optional and the location field is blank, the form may be saved without requiring precise location enabled.

What's Improved

• Date and Date/Time fields now display the calendar/time selector inline on the form.

• Permissions for access to the photo library respect the new options in iOS 14

The latest version of iOS includes new permission options for providing limited access to the photo library from the TrackVia app.

• Error messages include system information such as device type, date/time of the error, etc to assist in troubleshooting issues.
