Records Leaving a View from a Recent Change
When a user is modifying a record, and receives the following Blue Message after saving the changes:
This is reliant on the recent changes made to the record, and the View that they have pulled that record from. Users must interact with a View, in order to open a Record in TrackVia. The Views are filtered to show a collection of records based on criteria in the Filter, applied to that View. Filters are managed by Super Admins or App Admins in the account. More information regarding Filters can be found, here.
This Blue Message arises after a record has been modified, if the new data within that record does not meet the Filter criteria, applied to the View they pulled the record from, then the Record will leave that View.
For example, we have a "Tasks Due Today" View. As you can see in the image below, we have a Due Date, and a Current Date.
The Filter applied to the "Tasks Due Today" View is, will only show the records where the Due Date is Today. From the image above, we can see that the Due Date and the Current Date match, which means that the Filter is working and showing records that are Due Today.
Once the User opens the record, modifies the record, and hits "Save Changes", the system will identify whether the changes meet the filtered criteria on the View the record was pulled from.
In the image below, you can see that the Due was changed to the next day (tomorrow). This no longer meets the filter above, and therefore the Blue Message appears.
