Exceeded Your Workato Task Limit?
If your Workato account has reached its Task Limit, it will cause your Workato recipes to pause, and Jobs will stop running. If this happens to you, please reach out to your TrackVia Customer Success Manager to discuss options for increasing your Task Limit.
Once your Task Limit has been increased your recipes should resume running again, but in some cases this may not happen automatically, and you may see that your recipes are stuck "waiting for jobs". If this is the case, you can follow the steps below to get your Workato recipes back up and running.
How to Resume Your Recipes After Hitting the Task Limit
1. Manually Restart the Recipes
Even if the task limit has been increased, any affected recipes may need to be restarted manually:
- Go to the Recipes page.
- Find the ones with the “Waiting for jobs” status.
- Click Stop (if still running), then Start them again.
2. Next, Check the Job Queue
After restarting:
- Go to the Jobs tab for the recipe.
- See if previously paused jobs start processing again.
- If they remain stuck, Workato may not retry them automatically.
3. Review Admin Console / Usage Dashboard
- Check if your new task limit is fully in effect.
- Go to Settings → Account Usage or Admin → Usage to verify.
If you are unable to verify this, contact TrackVia Support.
