How to Connect Formstack Documents to Workato

Overview

This article walks you through connecting your Formstack Documents account to Workato so you can use Formstack document templates in your Workato recipes.

Connecting Your Formstack Documents Account to Workato

Step 1

Log into your Formstack account and click your username in the upper-right corner, then select API Access from the dropdown menu (highlighted below).

Step 2

Click "Click here to create an API Key!" to begin generating a new API key (highlighted below).

Step 3

Enter a descriptive name for the API key (e.g., "TrackVia/Workato Integration"), then click Create Key (highlighted below).

Step 4

Copy and save the Key and Secret values for the API key you just created — you'll need these in Step 6 (highlighted below).

Step 5

In your Workato workspace, navigate to Connections and create a new connection, searching for and selecting Formstack Documents (highlighted below).

Step 6

Enter the API Key and API Secret from Step 4, then click Connect (highlighted below).

You're all set! You can now use Formstack document templates in your Workato recipes.
