Understanding the App Overview Page

What does the Forms number on a View's App Overview card mean?

On the App Overview page, each View displays a number of associated Forms. This number reflects the total number of distinct Edit Forms that are permissioned to that View, across all Roles in the app.

This is a count of Form permissioning, not a structural relationship — it isn't counting how many Forms use the View as a Child View, and it isn't counting how many Forms have the View set as a Preferred Parent View for a relationship field. It's simply: across every Role in the app, how many different Edit Forms has that View been granted access to.
