What’s New?
- We updated the default application login settings on mobile to allow end users to stay logged in for up to 90 days without needing to re-authenticate into the mobile app. All session timeout settings applied to the account still apply as expected.
- We expanded the clickable area on Form Field and Form View sections to allow for an easier interaction expanding and collapsing Form elements.
- We’ve updated the look & feel of Success and Error messages in the platform to allow for better interactions when multiple messages are displayed on a single record. This also addresses issues with these messages previously temporarily blocking the Save and Save And Add New buttons while processing.
- We’ve added optimizations to Forms with large amounts of fields, relationships, and Form rules to ensure that entering data in fields responds as quickly as possible, particularly eliminating lag when typing in paragraph fields.
What’s Fixed?
Date/Date Time Fields:
- We fixed an issue with the Date Field Calendar defaulting to 2001 when tabbing into a Date Field to do data entry on a Form.
- We fixed an issue with Date and Date Time fields not honoring timezone correctly when a user’s Profile timezone is set to a different timezone than their browser's timezone. All input should now honor the timezone set in the user’s Profile.
- We fixed an issue with Date fields not parsing numbers correctly when users enter a date without “/” between MM/DD/YYYY. For example, entering 112123 will now correctly format to 11/23/2023 as expected.
Image Fields:
- A macOS Sonoma update resulted in some users being unable to attach screenshots/images to Image fields in TrackVia via Workato, API integration, or manual upload. This was caused due to changes in the underlying filename structure when a user saves an image in Sonoma. This has been resolved.
Location Fields:
- We fixed an issue in Location fields that was leading to the Zipcode not being displayed after searching for an Address to input:
Other Fixes:
- We cleaned up some formatting issues introduced in an earlier release that affected the layout of records when printing a Form to PDF using TrackVia’s native Print feature.
- We fixed an issue with submissions from a public webform not triggering microservices attached to the underlying TrackVia table receiving the new records. Microservices should now trigger as expected regardless of whether or not records are added by internal users or public users.
- We fixed an issue with “Success” and “Error” pop-ups blocking the Save button on Forms and Child Add Record modals.
- We fixed an issue with App Script errors not being presented to the user when attempting to add a Parent record via the “+” icon in a Relationship Field on a Form.
- We fixed an issue with Link to Parent fields intermittently not presenting the “Locked” icon as expected, specifically when adding Child Records where editing the Parent relationship should not be allowed.
- We fixed an issue with embedded Child Views not reloading as expected when a user clicks on the title of the Child View in the Child View dropdown:
- We cleaned up the display of Child View names and associated Relationship Field names when looking at multiple Child Views in a Child View section, as seen in the image above.
