Improved User Management
Welcome to easier user management! We’re adding a number of enhancements to help you find and manage your users more effectively. Specifically, you can now Search, Filter and Sort your list of users. Further, additional ‘standard’ table controls such as Import, Export, Print & History are now available to you via the Options menu. Last, but not least, we’ve added a new column of data to show the last time that your users logged in.
Note: User Groups were displayed on the grid view but is no longer. You can drill into a user record to view the groups associated with that user. Try it out today!
Search is now enabled by default for the view. Search will execute on the User ID, First Name, Last Name, Email, Time Zone, and Status. For example, I searched for "joh" and the below results were returned.
You can now filter your list of users just like you can in other views. You can filter on any of the fields in the Account Users table. AND & OR operators are available as well as conditions and condition groups.
You can now Sort your users using the familiar sort functionality. You can sort on any of the fields in the Account Users table. The search order applies as it does in other views.
Manage User Groups
The Manage User Groups button has been moved from a button at the top of the screen to an item in the Options menu to better align with our user experience. The functionality of managing user groups has not changed.
Add a User
Adding a user now happens in several places. First, the standard “Add Record” button has been added to the upper right corner of the view, to the left of the Options menu. Selecting this button will take you to the Profile Information form where you can add a user. Second, you can now Import a CSV or XLSx with user information by selecting “Import” in the Options menu. Last, when you are viewing a profile, you can “Save and Add New” records. The old “Add User” button & email field at the top of the screen has been removed.
We’re pleased to announce bulk import to your user table! Adding users is now even easier than before. Simply select the options menu and then “Import” to start our import wizard. Email is the only required field for import. When users are imported, they are set to “Unverified” and a verification email is sent to the user. We will email you the import results when the import completes.
*Note: You can only Import to Add today. Import to Update is not available at this time.
Exporting works like it does on any other table. Simply select the Options menu, then “Export” and a CSV will be made available to download with all data in the table.
Printing the table view works like it does on any other view. Simply select the Options menu and then “Print” to get your printing options.
Audit history on Account Users is now available. Select the Options menu and then “History” to view record changes or additions to this view.
