These tips cover customizing the details of the welcome emails and alert emails that are sent from your TrackVia account, and how to view and manage all of the Notifications and Shares that exist in your account.
Customizing Automated Email Details
When a new user is invited to join your account, they are sent a welcome email. By default, the Reply-to email address is welcome@trackvia.com and the sender’s name is set to the Company or Service name found under the Advanced Customization tab of Account Settings.
When an alert email is sent out (e.g. when an import finishes), the default sender’s name is “alerts” and the Reply-to email address is alerts@trackvia.com.
If your account has the Custom SMTP feature enabled, you can customize what appears as the sender’s name and the Reply-to email address by:
1. Going to Account Settings (see red box in screenshot)
2. Navigating to the “SMTP” tab (see red arrow)
3: Configuring your SMTP settings (see blue box)
4: Enter your desired changes in the “Display Name” and “Reply-to address” for both the Alert Emails and Welcome Emails (see green box), then click “Save Configuration”.
Utilizing The App Insights Page
As more Views are created in your account, it can become difficult to keep track of all the notifications and scheduled shares that have been set up to send out emails to your users.

Pausing a Notification Rule
If you want to temporarily pause a Notification Rule so that it will not be triggered to send out emails, follow these steps:
From the View, open the View Settings and select “Notification Rules”.
On the left you will find all of the notification rules that have been created for this view. There is a speaker symbol next to the name of each notification rule.
Click on the speaker to toggle the notification rule on and off.
